Porcupine is a part of the Unraveling Series, centered around a series of soft sculpture wearable headpieces, I prevoked the idea of the mask and created a series of creatures of the self through photography, graphic design, and zine making. This particular piece represents our ‘spikes’ and how our negative traits both impact us and others in an equal way. Fighting the idea of the individual, this wearable is gory, spiteful, and is unwilling to apologize for it.
